DCA Activate Pitch First Panel 7Min

Applicants are notified by phone or email of first-level review results and either 1) given feedback and asked to resubmit a revised proposal in the future, or 2) asked to prepare a 7-10 minute “pitch” presentation to be delivered to the Cultural Affairs Commission which acts as the second-level review panel on the third Thursday of each month (pending availability of a quorum of 5 members needed to make decisions). Proposals are moved from one month to the next until they are approved or rejected. In total the time between submitting a written proposal and receiving support is no less than 45 days, so applicants should propose projects due to start no sooner than 2 months after submission.
