Jonathan's artistic voyage with Piece by Piece began in the most heartwarming way—a friend, already a part of our community, extended an invitation for him to explore his creative side. After a period away from the art world, Jonathan was eager to dive back in, and what a splash he's made!
Mosaic art became Jonathan's chosen canvas, a medium that allowed him to break down grand ideas into smaller, tangible pieces. His mind is a playground of imaginative concepts, and mosaic art has given him the structure to channel these ideas into coherent and visually striking pieces. Among the various styles and materials, he's developed a particular fondness for crazy-paving, a challenging technique that he's mastered to create order and harmony from a jumble of different elements.
Jonathan has always had a flair for artistic expression, dabbling in the arts during his high school days and even joining a dance crew for two years. However, it's here at Piece by Piece that his creativity has truly flourished and found its home.
Beyond just honing his artistic skills, Jonathan has experienced profound personal growth through our program. As someone who grapples with ADHD and focus issues, he's found the structure he needs to excel, both within and outside of the studio. The non-judgmental environment at Piece by Piece has allowed him to shed the burden of performance anxiety, letting his artistic side grow and offering him a space to embark on a journey of self-discovery.
Jonathan's aspirations extend far beyond our studio walls. His ultimate dream is to establish his own gallery, a space where he can showcase his artistic evolution and share his passion for mosaic art with the world. While he works on making that dream a reality, we are happy to announce that Jonathan's mosaic creations are available for purchase on the Piece by Piece website.
