Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I am Mexican. I live in Los Angeles, California. 

Tell us about your family.
We are a family of five: my husband, our three children, and myself. We have accomplished goals together as a team, and that is how we operate.

Tell us about past work/school or other meaningful experiences .
I studied in Mexico. I worked as a self-employed sales representative, and I worked in the transportation department at AltaMed.

What is something you are proud of?
Among my accomplished goals: becoming independent, successfully supporting my children through their education, and becoming an artisan.

When did you first come to Piece by Piece?
In March 2024, my brother invited me over, and I finally made it. Here I am today, trying to learn more every single day.

How have you grown as a person and artist since joining Piece by Piece?
I've learned so much and picked up many techniques that help me improve my projects every day, thanks to the classes they offer.

What has Piece by Piece and creating mosaics added to your life?
Confidence, consistency, implementation of new techniques, motivation to keep taking on more projects, and mutual support among peers.

Who inspires you?
Life inspires me. Knowing that anything can be achieved with love, consistency, and perseverance.

What project have you enjoyed most? And why?
I love the flowers, animals, and landscapes I’ve created, and I know I’ve successfully done the work. I also know there is still so much more left to create, and I enjoy it so much.

What are you most proud of from you Piece by Piece time so far?
In every class I've taken, I've managed to complete the work successfully. It has turned out well, and I am so proud of my instructors and teachers.

What keeps you coming back to Piece by Piece every week?
