This one-of-a-kind, 2-piece handcrafted footed mosaic bowl combines dynamic geometric color blocks with an elevated pedestal base. Designed to serve as a striking table centerpiece, catchall dish, or sculptural home decor accent for your table or shelf, each piece is a unique creation handcrafted in Los Angeles through the Piece by Piece social enterprise.
The interior features a swirling pinwheel aperture motif crafted from stained glass sections in blue, yellow, black, white, tan, and green. A terracotta-and-black argyle diamond tile pattern wraps around the interior rim and full pedestal stem, highlighted by a bright orange tiled upper edge.
Hugo has been a dedicated Piece by Piece artist since 2010. With a background in accounting and culinary work, he found renewed purpose in mosaic art—bringing both emotional and economic well-being. Inspired by God and driven by a passion to create, Hugo continues to grow his artistry week after week.

Piece by Piece provides no-cost mosaic art workshops to low-income residents of South Los Angeles, Skid Row, and surrounding areas. These classes provide folks who need it with the healing power of art by teaching them how to make mosaics, and in turn, the trade enables them to earn income through their unique creations.

Mosaic is a strong medium and we use a variety of new and recycled pieces to create our works of art. Our artists are trained in using the most professional techniques to ensure quality work. However, in rare occasions, there may be need for a repair. Piece by Piece offers repairs due to material defects on purchased items at no cost for two years from date of sale. For items that have been broken, left outside, or in need of other repairs, we will assess the extent of damage and, if repairs are possible, provide a quote to restore your item. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
