This handcrafted mosaic vase features geometric shapes in shades of orange, blue and yellow. Designed and assembled in our LA studio, the vase highlights the meticulous craftsmanship and artistic sensitivity that define Norma’s work. She is often inspired by her daily life for her mosaics.

Norma is a dedicated artist and single mother of four whose family inspires everything she does. Since joining Piece by Piece in 2015, she has discovered hidden talents and a passion for mosaic art. Influenced by everyday life and artists like Frida Kahlo and Van Gogh, Norma approaches her work with perseverance, heart, and a love for learning.

Piece by Piece provides no-cost mosaic art workshops to low-income residents of South Los Angeles, Skid Row, and surrounding areas. These classes provide folks who need it with the healing power of art by teaching them how to make mosaics, and in turn, the trade enables them to earn income through their unique creations.
Mosaic is a strong medium and we use a variety of new and recycled pieces to create our works of art. Our artists are trained in using the most professional techniques to ensure quality work. However, in rare occasions, there may be need for a repair. Piece by Piece offers repairs due to material defects on purchased items at no cost for two years from date of sale. For items that have been broken, left outside, or in need of other repairs, we will assess the extent of damage and, if repairs are possible, provide a quote to restore your item. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.To start a return, you can contact us at info@piecebypiece.org. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 1815 S. Soto Street Los Angeles, CA 90023If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.
