Whimsical and charming, this sculpture transforms a child-sized boot into a 8" x 7" x 3.5" blooming garden of color. The piece is a delightful combination of materials, featuring a hand-painted base in vibrant shades of lavender, pink, and green that mimics a floral landscape. The upper portion of the boot is embellished with a playful mosaic of multicolored glass shards and round beads, culminating in a sculpted pink rose at the cuff and a large, stylized pink mosaic flower blossoming from the toe.
This piece was handcrafted by Los Angeles-based artist Rosa. Inspired by the fresh ideas and boundless possibilities she found upon rejoining the artistic community, Rosa infuses this piece with a sense of joy and new beginnings. "Garden Boot" is a testament to her belief that art adds "more color and more beauty" to life.
Pieces are intended for indoor use. Please clean gently with a microfiber cloth.
Rosa is a dedicated parent of three who rediscovered a passion for mosaic art at Piece by Piece after a decade-long hiatus. Proud of her resilience and inspired by the creativity of fellow artists, she finds joy and inspiration in the beauty of completed works and the connections made through her artistic journey.

Piece by Piece provides no-cost mosaic art workshops to low-income residents of South Los Angeles, Skid Row, and surrounding areas. These classes provide folks who need it with the healing power of art by teaching them how to make mosaics, and in turn, the trade enables them to earn income through their unique creations.
Mosaic is a strong medium and we use a variety of new and recycled pieces to create our works of art. Our artists are trained in using the most professional techniques to ensure quality work. However, in rare occasions, there may be need for a repair. Piece by Piece offers repairs due to material defects on purchased items at no cost for two years from date of sale. For items that have been broken, left outside, or in need of other repairs, we will assess the extent of damage and, if repairs are possible, provide a quote to restore your item. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
