Homage to Realize
Piece by Piece has had the honor to work with Los Angeles-based artist Laura Letchinger on several collaborative projects as well as displaying Piece by Piece’s artwork at two of her shows. Laura has taught a combo painting and mosaic workshop, and has supported our organization in many wonderful ways.
At Laura’s recent show “Moment to Moment”, we had the opportunity to work with her again by creating this unique piece that is pulled from her large piece titled “Realize”. “Homage to Realize” was created using a combination of new and recycled stained glass with special dichroic glass as well. An added feature is the vintage postage stamps revealed underneath transparent glass in the several weaving sections throughout the piece.
This piece not only pays homage to the original painting, but also to our continued incredible partnership with Laura.

Repair Policy
Mosaic is a strong medium and we use a variety of new and recycled pieces to create our works of art. Our artists are trained in using the most professional techniques to ensure quality work. However, in rare occasions, there may be need for a repair. Piece by Piece offers repairs due to material defects on purchased items at no cost for two years from date of sale. For items that have been broken, left outside, or in need of other repairs, we will assess the extent of damage and, if repairs are possible, provide a quote to restore your item.
