Besides mosaic art I also do art drawings and sketching, which I also enjoy.

Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I’m from Boyle Heights.

Tell us about your family.
My Dad is from Mexico and Mom is from from Boyle Heights. I have 8 siblings.

Tell us about past work/school or other meaningful experiences.
I worked as a caregiver for seniors which I found very rewarding.

What is something you are proud of?
That I can do projects and get them done which makes me proud.

When did you first come to Piece by Piece?
I started Piece by Piece in June of 2022.

How did you first hear about Piece by Piece?
From a class mate who attends Piece by Piece.

What has Piece by Piece and creating mosaics added to your life?
That I can explore other things in life.

Who inspires you?
The students work of art here in class.

What project have you enjoyed most? And why?
I love creating picture frames. I created an autumn leaf frame which is my favorite one. I am most proud of a portrait of myself that I made.
