Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I am from Mexico and I live in Los Angeles, California.

Tell us about your family.
I have 2 daughters, 1 grand daughter and 6 siblings. My mom is still around and lives in Oaxaca.

Tell us about past work/school or other meaningful experiences.
I was learning and doing sewing for a year in Mexico and I liked it a lot. Then I arrived to Piece by Piece and I learned to make mosaics small and big.

What is something you are proud of?
I am proud of myself for being able to achieve what I want.

When did you first come to Piece by Piece?
In 2012.

How have you grown as a person and artist since joining Piece by Piece?
I have gained knowledge on how to make many types of mosaics like pots, vases, murals, and mandalas.

How did you first hear about Piece by Piece?
Someone who was going to Piece by Piece invited me.

What has Piece by Piece and creating mosaics added to your life?
I have learned new things related to the art of mosaics.

Who inspires you?
Nature, flowers, and animals.

What project have you enjoyed most? And why?
I really liked making the mandalas.
