This radiant 16" mandala mosaic was created as part of a community art project during the Nowruz Festival, which celebrates the Persian New Year through creativity, connection, and cultural pride. Bright yellows and deep blues radiate from the center in a mesmerizing circular pattern, symbolizing joy, renewal, and balance—the very spirit of Nowruz.
Festival attendees helped lay the foundation of this piece, participating in a hands-on mosaic workshop that introduced them to the art form while fostering community engagement. After the event, our certified mosaic artists in Los Angeles carefully completed and refined the design, ensuring every tile was thoughtfully placed with attention to detail, texture, and symmetry.
When you purchase this piece, you’re not only celebrating Persian culture, you’re directly supporting the artists of Piece by Piece and helping to create pathways to wellness, income, and community connection through art.
Pieces are intended for indoor use. Please clean gently with a microfiber cloth.
Our community pieces often begin as class projects focused on developing specific skills or are started at public events where local residents are invited to contribute. These collaborative works are then brought to completion by our talented social enterprise artists, blending community spirit with professional artistry.
