We are delighted to introduce two exceptional individuals who have recently joined our esteemed team at Piece by Piece. Join us in celebrating the arrival of Wendy, our Picerne Foundation Artist Outreach Instructor, and Eliane, our Program Assistant.

The latest report from the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) has revealed a 10 percent increase in homelessness within the City of Los Angeles, bringing the total number of people experiencing homelessness to over 46,000. Piece by Piece helps individuals improve their mental wellness, build community and earn income supporting them as they transition out of homelessness.

First off, we have added a new member to our team! Alex has been a part of Piece by Piece for almost his entire life (some say he bares a striking resemblance to our Artistic Director, Dawn Mendelson), but now he’s excited to take on an official role as our Program Assistant

As we head in to 2023, we wanted to take a minute to look back at 2022, and all that was accomplished at Piece by Piece. Thank you for your ongoing support, none of this would have happened without your investment in the Piece by Piece mission.

We are honored to partner with Council Member Curren D. Price Jr.’s office to bring arts wellness to residents of Council District 9. We look forward to working with the other Community Grant recipients to serve our community.
